What ages do you serve?
Our North Beach location welcomes infants and toddlers from 6 weeks to 3 years.
Our Marina District preschool serves children ages 2 to 6.
Do you offer part-time enrollment?
Full-time only. We made this decision deliberately, and we stand behind it completely. Children thrive on predictability — the same teachers, the same rhythm, the same sense of "I know this place and it knows me." Part-time enrollment, however well-intentioned, asks a young child to repeatedly re-navigate separation, unfamiliar faces, and a routine that never quite settles. We don't think that's fair to them. Structure isn't a constraint we impose. It's the foundation children build everything else on. Full-time isn't a scheduling preference. It's a developmental one.
Are meals provided?
Yes. Every meal is included. Organic, pasture-raised, uncompromisingly sourced — milk, eggs, produce, all of it. We know how much nutrition matters in these early years. Clean food, real ingredients, nothing we wouldn't feed our own daughters.
How does Spanish immersion work?
Spanish is the language of our classroom — woven into every song, every project, every ordinary moment of the day. Not a scheduled lesson. Not a curriculum block. Not a once-a-day exercise. Our teachers speak it naturally, to each other and to the children, and the day breathes it. We don't force it. A child who is confused or overwhelmed learns nothing — so we use English as a bridge when we need to, while always pulling back toward Spanish as understanding grows. When a child begins to recognize, to respond, to light up at a word they finally own — we follow that. We deepen the immersion at their pace, not ours. Structure guides the process. The child determines the pace.
What is your teacher-to-child ratio?
4:1 at daycare. 6:1 at preschool. California allows up to 12:1. That's never been an option for us. Every child in our care deserves to be truly seen. Not managed. Not overlooked. Not just another face in the room. Small groups aren't a feature of our program. They're the whole point. Large groups make it easy to get lost in the crowd.
What happens after I submit the form?
We'll reach out within one business day to schedule a tour or answer any questions. No pressure. Ever.
The question we get most
No. We don't charge to apply.
No. We don't charge to join our waitlist.
You're entrusting someone with your child, possibly for the first time. That's one of the hardest things a parent does and the idea of charging a family simply for hoping there might be a spot, or for daring to ask — quite frankly, as parents ourselves, the thought has never occurred to us.
